Beating Cancer is in Their Blood
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the largest funder of cutting-edge medical research to find cures for deadly blood diseases. These include leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. Every day, they work to improve the quality of life of heroic patients and their families. For an upcoming digital annual report, LLS wanted to bring the work of their dedicated volunteers to light.
Share the Volunteer’s Point of View
Over the years, we’ve discovered that our best ideas come when we listen to our partners talk about their mission and work. LLS was no different. We learned a great deal about the scope of their work from research to advocacy to patient support and fundraising. As a result, we developed an approach that would highlight their 100,000 volunteers through their work in these areas.
How Can We Visually Extend Our Brand?
LLS’s visual language contains vibrant colors and defined typography. To this we introduced iconography and integrated their photography in fresh ways. Utilizing their brand in new ways helped to give this key brand communication a fresh look and feel. Videos and information graphics were integrated in new ways to engage their audience.
Make the Site Work Everywhere
The digital report is mobile responsive presenting the information effectively across phone, tablet and desktop devices. To aid in this, we used content tabs to efficiently present the impact of campaign, mission, community and leadership volunteers.
