Serving an Underserved Community
Rooted in a mission that began with the first Chinatown Health Fair in 1971, bringing care to medically underserved Chinese residents, the Health Center now serves more than 50,000 New Yorkers each year, many navigating care across language and access barriers. The existing website made that harder than it needed to be, with difficult navigation, outdated structure, and limited flexibility for staff. We partnered with the Health Center to rebuild the experience from the ground up, making it easier for patients to find care and for staff to keep information current.
Built Around Patient Needs
The new structure centers on how patients actually seek care. Content is organized into five clear sections, supported by a streamlined navigation system with persistent access to key actions like finding a doctor or locating a clinic.
The result is fewer dead ends and faster paths to services, locations, and next steps.

Finding the Right Care
A redesigned physician finder allows users to search by specialty, location, gender, language, or keyword. Results are easy to scan, with clear calls to action for booking by phone or online.
Profiles are structured for real-world use, making them easy to share or print for family members and community helpers who often assist in navigating care.

Making Information Usable
Service pages present complete information in a format that is easy to scan and understand. Structured sections, clear headings, and cross-linking between services, locations, and resources help patients move through the site without friction and make informed decisions.

Built for Access
An expanded health library provides multilingual resources across key topics such as mental health, pregnancy, and dental care. Search and category organization make it easier to find relevant materials, while core sections like Patients and Locations bring essential details together in one place.

Built to Last
The site is fully responsive and powered by Webflow CMS, allowing staff to update content, add new providers, and manage resources without developer support. A bilingual experience ensures accessibility for Chinese-speaking patients, while SEO improvements help more people find care when they need it.
